On behalf of the State Administrative and Executive Councils of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Edo State, I sincerely congratulate every Nurse and Midwife on the occasion of Year 2020 International Nurses Week Celebration.
The 12th of May every year is celebrated the world over as “International Nurses Day” being the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the mother of modern nursing. This year was also designated “The Year of the Nurse and Midwife” by World Health Organisation (WHO) in honour of the 200th anniversary of her birth and also in recognition of the contributions of nurses and the risks associated with nursing shortages.
