As part of the ongoing reforms, the Management of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) wishes to inform all Nigerians and its various stakeholders that sequel to the conclusion of the reaccreditation and the recent accreditation exercises, the following are the Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) accredited by the Scheme to carry out health insurance business in Nigeria.

ACCREDITATION HMO

The Public is advised to avoid doing business with any health insurance or managed care company that is not accredited by NHIS. Anyone doing business with companies not accredited by the Scheme does so at his/her own risk. Companies that are not accredited by NHIS but parading themselves as HMOs shall be liable to prosecution.
