The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is determined to sustain the imperatives of the transparency and accountability elements of its reforms.
Within that context specifically, it seeks to resolve extant issues of HMOs’ indebtedness to Healthcare Facilities regarding the payments of capitation and fee – for – service.
Consequently, the scheme hereby requests all NHIS – accredited Healthcare Facilities to send details of claims which are yet to be settled or paid, for the period; January 1, 2020 – March 31st2021.
These submissions should be forwarded to NHIS STATE OFFICE where the Healthcare Facilities are domiciled.
THE SUBMISSION SHOULD BE ON AND NOT LATER THAN AUGUST 13, 2021.
Please treat as urgent.
