Overview
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Nurse Educator to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing education, supporting students’ academic and clinical development, and maintaining excellence in teaching and learning standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in nursing and related subjects
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools
- Supervise and support students during clinical postings and practicals
- Evaluate students’ academic performance through tests, assignments, and examinations
- Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for nursing education
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate academic records and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BNSc); a Master’s degree in Nursing or Education is an added advantage
- Must have 3–5 years teaching experience in a nursing institution or relevant clinical experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license
- Strong knowledge of nursing education standards and curriculum
- Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the use of instructional and educational technologies
