Learning Objectives

Through this Nursing Internship program, Nurse interns should learn to:

• Consolidate and build on the theoretical knowledge you gained during your undergraduate year and learn to apply it in caring for patients.
• Develop the clinical, technical, personal, and professional skills that form the basis of nursing practice.
• Take increasing responsibility for patient care, as experience and understanding allow.
• Work within the ethical and legal framework taught at Nursing schools.
• Explore personal career goals and expectations.
• Provide nursing care under the supervision of preceptors in clinical areas, with the guidance of unit members
• Seek guidance and feedback from experienced healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• BNSC/RN, RM, RPHN or its equivalent.
• Induction Certificate
• Nurse Intern License.
