Job Title: Nurse- Ophthalmic

Location: Benin City, Edo

Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and professional Registered Nurse to join our dynamic ophthalmic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative Care: Prepare patients for various ophthalmic procedures, including surgeries, intravitreal injections, and laser treatments.
• Assistance with Procedures: Support the Ophthalmologist and other healthcare professionals during ophthalmic procedures such as vitrectomy and cataract surgery.
• Post-Operative Care: Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide patients with clear post-operative instructions for recovery.
• Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and treatment plans.
• Clinic Operations: Assist with Clinic operations includingscheduling surgeries and follow-up appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on eye care treatment options and the use of visual aids to promote optimal recovery and outcomes.
• Availability: Ensure readiness to provide care as expected, including during emergencies.
• Patient Relations: providea warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients, ensuring a positive experience at all times.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest developments in ophthalmology as guided by the Ophthalmologist or optometrist.

Requirements

• Valid RN License: Current registration as a Registered Nurse and any other relevant certifications.
• Relevant Experience: Completion of an internship or National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
