Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Pharmacist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting prescriptions, dispensing medications accurately, and providing professional pharmaceutical care to patients.

The successful candidate must be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and up to date with advancements in pharmaceutical practice and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compound and dispense medications accurately as prescribed by physicians.
  • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and therapeutic compatibility.
  • Provide professional advice on dosage, drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication use.
  • Conduct health and wellness screenings.
  • Administer immunizations and provide basic medical services such as blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar checks.
  • Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards governing pharmaceutical practice.
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory control, removal of expired/damaged drugs, and controlled substance documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Perform additional administrative and management duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience as a Pharmacist.
  • Full registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Valid and current PCN practicing license.
  • Proven experience in pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of dosage administration, pharmaceutical compounds, and drug brands.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Pharmacy Information Systems.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
