Royal Hospital, a National Health Insurance Scheme accredited health care provider and one of the first ever private hospitals located in Enugu requires for immediate employment the following:

JOB TITLE: NURSE (RN)  

LOCATION: ENUGU

Candidate must possess the following:

(a). Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as staff nurse (RN)

(b). Must have 2-4 years cognate clinical experience in direct patient care and a minimum of 12 months in a multiple bed hospital.

Responsibilities and Attributes:

• Provide first aid treatment in cases of minor injuries and emergencies.
• Perform preliminary physical examinations, such as a blood test, to detect possible underlying illness that could contribute to a medical problem (for example, hypertension).
• Perform initial screenings on patients.
• Collect medical histories.
• Assist in medical examinations.
• Offer tips and advice to help patients manage their health and other symptoms.
• Show patients how to administer medication.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist during operations.
• Provide after-surgery care for patients.
• Carry out some medical tests and procedures.
• Age: Not more than 45 years
