We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nurse

Location: Omagwa, Port Harcourt - Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Head Nurse / Medical Director / Matron

Industry: Healthcare / Hospital / Clinic

 

Job Summary

 

  • The Nurse will provide high-quality patient care by assessing health needs, administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and supporting recovery.
  • The role involves working closely with doctors, other healthcare professionals, and families to ensure the best outcomes for patients while adhering to medical and ethical standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories.
  • Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
  • Provide health education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of medical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, safety procedures, and healthcare regulations.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and health & safety standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle emergencies, and adapt to shifts.
  • Computer literacy (for electronic health records) is an advantage.

Salary

N80,000 - N120,000 monthly.
