Job Title: Nursing Officer (Dialysis)

Location: Asaba, Delta

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for Nursing Officers with experience in providing quality care to patients requiring dialysis and related management.

Job Description

• Monitoring patients during dialysis to identify any adverse reactions or irregularities.
• Checking and recording patients’ vitals before, during, and after dialysis as often as required.
• Ensuring that hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments are administered to patients correctly.
• Promptly notifying the appropriate medical practitioner of any problems that may occur during dialysis treatments.
• Working with the Dialysis Technicians to ensure that dialysis machines and equipment are functioning properly.
• Providing support and care to patients as may be required.
• Any other nursing care duties that may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BNSC)
• Must be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with a valid license
• Ability to operate dialysis machines.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience working as a Nurse in a dialysis unit.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observation skills.
• Computer literacy
• Empathetic and able to remain calm under stressful situations.
