The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as part of its statutory activities, organizes a Workshop biennially for prospective Examiners engaged in Nursing and Midwifery Professional Examinations in Nigeria. 

AIM 

The aim of the Workshop is to equip prospective Council Examiners with the requisite knowledge and skills for appropriate conduct of various parts of the Council's professional examinations among others. 

TARGET AUDIENCE 

• Heads/Educators in Nursing and Midwifery training institutions accredited and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Clinical Instructors, Preceptors and Clinicians in Public Health Institutions, Non-Governmental Organizations and Agencies.
• Desk Officers and Focal Persons (who are Nurses) responsible for indexing and examinations in Nursing and Midwifery training institutions in Nigeria.

In order to comply with COVID-19 protocol, Council is expanding the Workshop from seven (7) to nine (9) Centre across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

WORKSHOP THEME:

“Enhancing Professional Nursing and Midwifery Examination Outcomes Through Educator –Clinical Synergy” 

WORKSHOP FEE:

• Early birds – N60,000.00 (Sixty thousand naira)
• Late birds – N65,000.00 (Sixty-five thousand naira)
• Onsite payment – N85,000 (Eighty-five thousand naira) 

Please note that payment is to be made via remitta to Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and evidence of payment must be presented at the venue of the workshop.

WORKSHOP DATE

The workshop is fixed tentatively for 26th July-14th August 2021 for three weeks’ duration at three centres. The centres are to run concurrently every week and shall hold for 4 days in batches indicated below:
