In a significant milestone for the healthcare community, Medicalworld Nigeria, a leading medical training institution, has successfully trained over 70 medical professionals in essential life-saving techniques during the month of October 2023. These specialized courses, offered by the American Heart Association (AHA), include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and First Aid.

Among the medical professionals who underwent training, 53 individuals completed the intensive BLS course, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies, such as cardiac arrest and choking.

40 healthcare providers achieved proficiency in ACLS, enabling them to provide advanced life support in critical situations, including the management of cardiac arrest, ACS and stroke.

In addition, 4 healthcare specialists dedicated themselves to enhancing their abilities in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), a vital skillset for responding to emergencies involving children and infants.

The training institution's commitment to promoting safety and health is further underscored by the 10 professionals who completed the comprehensive First Aid CPR AED course. This course empowers participants to administer initial care in various emergency situations, from injuries to sudden illnesses.
