The NEPL/OERNL Joint Venture, in pursuance of its Corporate Social Responsibility invites suitably qualified applicants for its 2026/2027 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme, commencing Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and concluding on Wednesday, April 1 2026.

Categories of Awards:

1. Host Communities Merit Award - For applicants strictly from Oando Host Communities.
2. National Merit Award - For applicants from Non-Host Communities.

 

Eligibility:

• To qualify for consideration, applicants MUST be:
• Registered FULL TIME undergraduates in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions.
• Certified 100-level students at the time of applications.

 

Note:  

• The following categories of students are not eligible to apply:
• Students currently in 200-level and above
• Current beneficiaries of similar awards from other companies
• Dependents of Staff of Oando PLC and its subsidiaries
• Only indigenes of Oando Host Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo States should apply for the Host Communities Mark Award.
• Only applicants studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences and Agricultural Sciences are eligible for the National Merit Award

 

Deadline:

• Application ends Wednesday, April 1, 2026

 

Note:

• The aptitude test shall be online
• Only shortlisted candidates shall be contacted to participate in the aptitude test.
• Applicants with less than 50% overall score in the aptitude test would not be considered.
