Job Title: Ophthalmic Nurse

Location: Benin, Edo

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Nurse to join our Eye Care Team.
• The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in providing specialized nursing care to patients with eye conditions.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual acuity tests and basic eye assessments
• Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations and procedures
• Administer prescribed eye medications
• Prepare and support patients before and after ophthalmic surgeries
• Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on eye care and post-operative instructions.

 

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license
• Certificate or training in Ophthalmic Nursing (added advantage)
• Experience in ophthalmology, eye clinic, or theatre support is preferred
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.
