Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul Hospital is a faith based hospital located in Kubwa, Abuja, that provides high quality healthcare services to patients. The aim of establishing this facility is to bridge the gap between the formal public health services and the health needs of the people especially those in rural areas. We offer general health and medical services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Optician

Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Receive patientsprescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
• Measure patientseyes and faces, such as the distance between their pupils.
• Help patientschoose eyeglass frames and lens treatments that best fit their vision needs and lifestyle
• Gives advice on caring for eye equipment
• Adjust and repair frames
• Managing inventory of frames and contact lenses,
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and eyewear technology., etc

Job Qualifications

• Diploma in dispensing opticianry
• Current registration with the relevant professional body in Nigeria.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Optician.
• Proficient in using optometric equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Strong knowledge of eyewear products, lens options, and contact lenses.
