Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Benin, Edo

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Optometrist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including vision testing, diagnosis, and treatment of visual problems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
• Diagnose vision problems and eye conditions
• Prescribe corrective lenses and medications where necessary
• Provide patient education on eye care and hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when required.

Requirements

Skills:

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) or equivalent qualification
• Valid practicing license
• Minimum of 1–3 years relevant experience (preferred).
