Job Title: Optometrist.
Location: Abuja.

Job Summary: The candidate must be a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to join their team. This role requires someone who is competent in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and preliminary assessments, comfortable working with diagnostic equipment, and capable of supporting the efficient running of the clinic and optical services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, maintains accurate clinical records, and is committed to providing quality care to every patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clerk patients and conduct preliminary eye assessments.
• Measure visual acuity and intraocular pressure, and perform objective and subjective refraction.
• Perform visual fields, optical coherence tomography, A-scan biometry, and B-scan ultrasonography.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and refer patients requiring ophthalmological review.
• Support the efficient running of the clinic and optical services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from a recognised university.
• Completed internship and NYSC, or an exemption certificate.
• Current ODORBN registration and practising licence.
• Preferably at least two years' post-internship experience; competent recently qualified optometrists may also be considered.
• Equipment training can be provided on site.
