Deda hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Pharmacist to accurately review and interpret prescriptions, prepare and dispense medications, monitor drug therapies for safety and effectiveness, and provide expert pharmacological guidance to healthcare professionals and patients. The role also oversees pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and high standards in medication management and patient care.

• To prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
• To dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labelling pharmaceuticals.
• Controls medications by monitoring drug prescription and therapies; advising interventions.
• Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow; verifying their preparation and labelling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
• To provide pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm).

YEARS OF EXP: 3-5 years experience (Post NYSC)
