PhD Studentship in West Africa at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

The Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at London School of Hygiene and tropical Medicine invites applications from Africans citizens, for its full-time PhD studentship in the project:  

Molecular genetic models for Inferring transmission events — who infected whom- in vector and non-vector borne infectious pathogens  

Applicant requirements:  

- MSc in Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or Computer Sciences with experience in data science or data analysis in biomedical research.

The Studentship starts in March 2021, and will be full-time for four years, involving collaboration with the Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at LSHTM and a European institution. Full financial support will be provided.
