Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Shiroro, Niger

 

Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a competent and approachable Community Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing and provide frontline pharmaceutical care within our community-focused health facility.

The ideal candidate will combine professional discipline with a patient-centered approach, ensuring safe medication practices and trusted health guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, and side effects.
  • Provide basic health advice and support preventive care initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage drug inventory, ensuring proper storage conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, promoting trust and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm).
  • Valid practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • 3 - 5 years experience in a community pharmacy setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy management systems is an advantage.
