We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to customers and patients professionally.
• Assist in dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Receive and process prescriptions according to established procedures.
• Label, package, and organize medications.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and restocking medications.
• Ensure proper storage of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
• Handle sales transactions and issue receipts where applicable.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Respond to customer inquiries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• Minimum of SSCE, OND, HND, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies or related healthcare training is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of medications and pharmacy operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and record-keeping skills.
• Good organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
