Medicus Specialist Hospital is a newly opened hospital located at No 8 Kojo Abayomi Street, off Lotto Road, Gbegira Mowe. We are a specialist hospital providing the following services; General medical care, Antenatal and delivery care, Gynaecological care, Infertility care, Surgical care and Paediatric care.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Post NYSC Medical Doctor

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Duty Shift: 48 hours on duty, followed by 4 days off

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Valuate patients and administer appropriate medical treatment for a variety of illnesses and injuries.
  • Ensure optimal patient care following clinical guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and transactions as per company policies.
  • Conduct inpatient and outpatient reviews, initiating assessments and management plans.
  • Supervise Medical Assistants to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits and other quality assurance initiatives.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training programs.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff

 

Requirements

  • M.B.B.S degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
  • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in medical practice.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and familiarity with Healthcare Management Systems.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in emergency situations.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a  
  • multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

 

Compensation

  • Minimum of N350,000.  
  • Free Health coverage.
