Job Title: Radiographer / Sonographer

Location: Enugu

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

Patient Interaction:

• Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns or fears.
• Ensure patient comfort and cooperation during imaging examinations.

Modalities:

• Ultrasound
• X-ray

Equipment Operation:

• Proficient in using Ultrasound and related technologies
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and fluoroscopy machines.
• Adjust equipment settings to obtain high-quality images.

Positioning and Imaging:

• Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images.
• Follow physician's orders to capture images of specific body parts or systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and themselves.

Image Evaluation:

• Review and evaluate the quality of images to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Consult with physicians or radiologists regarding image interpretation.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
• Ensure the proper labeling and storage of digital or film images.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability of imaging equipment.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years experience.
