Job Title: Radiographer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and skilled Radiographer to join our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring patient safety during imaging procedures, and producing high-quality images to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray imaging, ultrasound scans where applicable.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain processes to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Review images for quality and ensure they are suitable for diagnostic interpretation.
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and care.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient data.
• Ensure imaging equipment is regularly checked and maintained.

Requirements

• Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging.
• Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety.
• Good technical and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a healthcare team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic center and completion of internship and NYSC.
• Experience with multiple imaging modalities such as CT scans, ultrasound etc.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
