Job Title: Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Deliver antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care in accordance with midwifery best practices.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, identify complications, and intervene appropriately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Assist in surgical and emergency interventions where necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing records and documentation.
- Uphold infection prevention and control practices at all times.
Patient and Family Engagement:
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Offer emotional and psychological support, especially during childbirth and recovery processes.
- Promote patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
Team Collaboration and Supervision:
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, physiotherapists, laboratory staff, and pharmacists.
- Supervise and mentor junior nurses and nursing assistants.
- Participate actively in ward rounds and care plan discussions.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in audits, clinical reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere strictly to hospital protocols, national nursing and midwifery guidelines.
- Maintain professional competency through continuous professional development (CPD).
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) Certification
- Registered Midwife (RM) Certification
- Valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification clinical experience in both nursing and midwifery.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary hospital setting is preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
- Proficient in use of hospital management systems and electronic health records (EHR)
