Job Title: School Nurse

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

• Health Assessment & Emergency Care
• First aid and triage: Treating injuries (cuts, fractures, sprains) and managing sudden illnesses (e.g., asthma attacks, seizures).
• Screening programs: Conducting vision, hearing, and growth screenings to detect early health issues.
• Chronic condition management: Supporting students with diabetes, allergies, or epilepsy through individualized care plans
• Record-keeping: Maintaining confidential health records, including immunization status and medical histories.
• Policy enforcement: Ensuring compliance with national health regulations (e.g., Nigeria’s immunization requirements).
• Outbreak control: Monitoring and responding to communicable diseases (e.g., malaria, flu) to prevent school-wide spread.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 0 - 2 years work experience.
