We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: School Nurse

Location: Agege, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Provide basic healthcare services to pupils and staff within the school
• Attend to minor injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies
• Maintain students’ health records and medical files
• Administer first aid and prescribed medications where necessary
• Promote hygiene, health education, and safety practices in the school
• Liaise with parents/guardians on student health concerns when required

 

Education / Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing qualification
• Valid practicing license is an added advantage
• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a similar role (school experience is a plus)

 

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of basic nursing and first aid procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm under pressure and able to handle emergencies
• Good record-keeping and attention to detail
• Compassionate and child-friendly attitude

 

Other Requirements:

• Must reside around Fagba, Agege, Ifako-Ijaiye or nearby areas (VERY IMPORTANT)
• Must be punctual, reliable, and responsible
• Must be child-friendly and professional at all times.

Remuneration

• Competitive and negotiable based on experience.
