Established in August 2011, SHIN has afabrication and integration yard in Lagos.This facility is notable as Africa's first-ever and only Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) integration yard.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Site Nurse
Location: Tarkwa Bay, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Examine injured/ Sick personnel, provide first Aid and Basic Medical Care.
- Check and document patients Vital Signs
- Carry out relevant medical test (e.g. BP, Blood Sugar, Malaria test)
- Advice staff and personnel on site on how to maintain healthy living
- Operates and maintains Emergency Room, and First Aid Facilities
- Maintains Records of injuries and diseases on site
- Provide Basic Training Emergency and other medical training materials for induction of new workers
- Communicates with managers for advice and assistance in case of injuries and diseases
- Ensures smooth and efficient running of Emergency Room, ensuring regular checks of stocks of drugs with potent date.
- Ensures proper segregation and disposal of medical waste generated from the Emergency Room.
- Assist in evacuation of injured / sick patients (Medvac) to retainer ship hospital
- Ensures Medical Reports of patients transported to the retainer ship hospital are received on time.
- Ensures ER Hygiene
- Participates in monthly drill exercises
- Carry out Monthly Health talk for staff
- Collaborate with other HSE personnel in the investigation of incidents / accidents on site
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Nursing), Registered Nurse (RN), RPON -, Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLF (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) added advantage
Salary
- N400,000 - N600,000 per month.
