Westcare Specialist Hospital - The idea to create Westcare Hospital group was conceived in 1997. This idea was brought to fruition in May 1998 when the first hospital was founded and named Ilogbo central Hospital. The hospital was named after Ilogbo town near Ajangbadi, Ojo LGA of Lagos in which the hospital was situated.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sonographer  

Location: Egbeda, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound scans to capture images of the body, including organs, tissues, and blood vessels.
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functionality and patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss patient conditions and imaging results.
• Ensure patients are correctly positioned for imaging to achieve the best results.
• Explain procedures to patients, addressing concerns and providing reassurance.
• Maintain accurate records of patient scans and imaging results and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow strict safety and hygiene protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
• Stay updated on advances in ultrasound technology and participate in professional development.

 

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 5 - 7 years work experience.
