Applications are expected from suitably qualified candidates for appointment as intern Pharmacists, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Medical imaging Scientists, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Dental Therapists, Dental Technologist, Optometrist and Dieticians at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.

 

Qualification

Applicants must possess the under-listed qualifications and provisional registration with their respective professional bodies.

a) Intern Pharmacists   B. Pharm

b) Intern Nurses   BNSC

c) Intern Physiotherapists  B. Med Rehabilitation (Physio)

d) Intern Med. Imaging Scientist B. Rad

e) Intern Med. Lab. Scientists  B. Med. Lab. Sc.

f) Intern Dental Therapist  B. Sc./HND. Dental Therapy

g) Intern Dental Technologist  B. Tech./HND

h) Intern Optometrist   O.D

I) Intern Dieticians   B. SC. Nut/Diet.

 

Method of Application

Applicants should obtain an APPLICATION FORM from the office of the Head of Clinical Services & Training (C & T) with effect from Monday, 9th February 2026.

 

Closing Date For Submission of Completed Form

Duly completed application forms should be returned to the office of the Head of. Clinical Services & Training (C & T) not later than Monday, 6th April 2026.

 

Date of Interview

The written interview will be held on Monday, 15th April 2026, at 8:00 am, in the main auditorium, Faculty of Basic Studies, University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT)
