Qualifications And Requirements

PROFESSOR (CONUASS 7)

The candidate must already be a Reader and possess a PhD degree from a recognized University with at least ten (10) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must demonstrate competence to provide academic and research leadership, the candidate must also be a specialist in core areas of departmental fields of study with evidence of at least Twenty-Five (25) scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (CONUASS 6)

Qualifications are as stated for Professors but with at least eight (8) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution, Candidates must have evidence of a minimum of Twenty (20) scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

SENIOR LECTURER (CONUASS 5)

Qualifications are the same as Associate Professor stated above but with at least Six (6) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must have evidence of a minimum of fourteen (14) scholarly publications in both local and internationally reputable learned journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

• List of publications in detail: book, journal contributions to books, paper presented at National/International conferences.
• Extra-curricular activities and any other relevant information
• Name and address of three (3) Referees.

The post applied for and the department is to be indicated at the top of your application letter.
