Job Title: Veterinary Doctor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are sourcing for a Resident Vet doctor for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and service provider located in Ibadan, Nigeria.

Job Responsibilities

• Examine animals and check their health status
• Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
• Dress wounds of injured animals
• Perform dental, ophthalmic and orthopedic surgeries
• Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
• Spay and neuter cats and dogs as needed
• Prescribe medication
• Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care
• Conduct home visits occasionally, in case of emergency
• Update client records.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Qualification, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
• 1+ years relevant work experience.
• Versatile in Poultry medicine, diagnosis, poultry production and management.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Leadership skills with impeccable character
• Proven work experience as poultry medicine diagnostician or similar role would be an added advantage.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
