The West African Postgraduate College of Nurses and Midwives (WAPCNM), Nigeria Chapter is delighted to announce the upcoming 25th Annual General Meeting, Scientific Conference, and Workshop, scheduled to hold from 24th – 28th November 2025 in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.

This year’s theme is:

• “Healthy Nurses, Healthier Patients: Advancing Employee Assistance Program and Health Insurance in Nigeria.”

The conference will feature thought-provoking sessions, workshops, and paper presentations under the following sub-themes:

• The hidden link between nurse wellness and patient outcomes
• Employee assistance programs: key strategies to security and retention
• Emotional well-being of nurses: why wellness is crucial
• Embedding support systems into healthcare institutions
• Building the business case: a silent risk in an environment not designed to support
• Enhancing resilience: creating a culture of support in nursing
• Global best practices: where EAP and health insurance meet
• We therefore invite you to submit abstracts for presentation during the conference.

Scope: Must align with the theme or any sub-theme

Length: Maximum of 250 words

Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 line spacing
