The Zamfara State Government, through the Hospital Services Management Board (HSMB), invites qualified and competent candidates to apply for employment into the State Health Service.

This recruitment exercise is part of the government's commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery by engaging skilled healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing quality medical services across Zamfara State.

Available Positions

1. Registered Nurses
2. Registered Midwives

 

Additional healthcare cadres may be announced in subsequent phases of the recruitment exercise.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be an indigene of Zamfara State by birth.
• Be between 18 and 40 years of age.
• Be physically and mentally fit for public service.
• Possess no criminal record or history of dismissal from any public service.
• Be willing to work in any healthcare facility within Zamfara State.

Professional Qualifications

For Nurses:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate or B.Sc. Nursing from an accredited institution.
2. Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) practising licence or evidence of registration.

 

For Midwives:

1. Registered Midwife (RM) Certificate from an accredited institution.
2. Valid NMCN practising licence or evidence of registration.
3. Applicants with a B.Sc. Nursing degree must present an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate, while foreign-trained candidates must provide an Adaptation Course Certificate. ([Nigeria Startup News][1])

5. Academic certificates
6. Professional certificates
