The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria is set to start offering courses in Nursing Sciences through its distance learning programme starting in September this year.
The chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), ABU chapter, Malam Haruna Yusuf, who made this known during a get-together organised for the members of the association, advised people unable to go for further studies on regular basis to take advantage of the planned distance learning programme. Speaking, the Registrar of ABU, Malam Ahmed Kundila, said members of NANNM could use their savings in the cooperative society of the association to start life after service before they received their gratuity.
