Another Medical Doctor kidnapped in Rivers State

In less than a month, two medical doctors in Rivers state have had kidnapping experience. The first one occurred on Friday, May 5th 2017 and as the victim, Dr Florence Onua resisted the unwarranted attack, the kidnappers pumped her with a lot of bullets .She later gave up the ghost at University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital on Saturday, May 6th 2017. Her remains are still in the morgue as the family is yet to recover from the shock.

Despite the protest march by the members of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Rivers state chapter on Wednesday,10th May 2017,another medical doctor, Dr Obolo-Omini Marcus was kidnapped on the evening of 22nd May 2017 at his Private hospital located at the Degema area of the state. That was exactly seventeen days after kidnappers pumped bullets into late Dr Mrs Florence Onua and twelve days after the protest march.
