The court of appeal sitting in calabar dismissed an Appeal by National Association of Pharmaceutical Technologists and Pharmacy Technicians in Nigeria (NAPPTON) and 3 Ors against the pharmacists council of Nigeria (PCN) and 4 Ors in suit No.CA/C/246/2014. The court of appeal upheld the contention of the respondents that PCN did not breach the fundamental human right of members of the Association when it sealed shops in calabar operated by members of the association which were not duly registered by PCN. The case was dismissed in a unanimous judgement by 3 justices of the court of appeal presided by justice chioma e Nwosu-iheme on the 22nd day of May 2017
