The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (AMLSN) heartily congratulates Hon. Justice Walter Onnoghen on his confirmation as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN).

 

AMLSN is elated to note the new CJN's pronouncements on his determination to  face squarely, whoever fails to obey court orders. This pronouncement if pursued will give the rule of law its due place and return Nigeria to the path of justice, law and order.

 

Compliance with the most recent NICN judgement of 17-02-2017, against  the the Chief Medical Director and Director of Administration of Jos University Teaching Hospital, Minister of Health and others  will be an acid test for the CJN to enforce compliance with the rule of law and respect for the judiciary. Nobody should claim to be above the law! They are better off obeying the court or risk going to jail!

 

AMLSN wishes the CJN, a very successful tenure of office.
