RE: ON GOING NATIONWIDE INDUSTRIAL ACTION IN JOINT HEALTH SECTOR UNION (JOHESU) AND THREATS FROM FEDERAL HEALTH INSTITUTIONS.
As you are aware, the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN) is an affiliate of NUAHP and therefore in total support of the ongoing nationwide strike action by JOHESU which commenced since 17th April, 2018.
As we continue in the spirit of struggle to participate fully with members or JOFIESU nationwide in the light for our common rights, it is imperative to inform Radiographers, members of ARN and her affiliates Nation Wide and Diaspora not to succumb to different forms of threats from health facilities as indicated in a circular released by the Federal Government with Ref No: DHS/166/T2/220 dated 28th May, 2018, in respect to the above subject matter.
While we appreciate your resilience in the current struggle, we appeal for your continuous loyalty and obedience so as not to jeopardize the ongoing struggle of JOHESU in any form.
You are at liberty to report any saboteurs to your various branch chairmen while we mandate that you do not participate in any interview or employment in any government hospital at all levels during the period of this current strike action.
Lastly, we implore that you continue to obey directives of ARN and by extension the leadership of JOHESU as we work towards getting all our demands from Government.
