Over 1.9 million children in Benue State are to be vaccinated against meningitis and measles  from November 16 to 23. The Executive Secretary, Benue State  Primary Health Care Board, Dr Bem Ageda, disclosed this during a media orientation meeting for 2019 Integrated Measles and Meningitis campaign in Makurdi on  Wednesday.

 

According to him, 1,743 health workers comprising three vaccinators, three recorders, one crowd controller and one community mobiliser have been trained to participate in the immunisation programme.
