The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has reopened the link for the filling of the Personal Update Forms (PUF) For Nurses and Midwives in the country and fr those practising outside the shores of Nigeria. This was contained in a memo signed by the Registra Alh. Farouk and dated 14th November 2017.
The memo reads as follows:
RE: COMMENCEMENT OF ONLINE PROFESSIONAL UPDATE FORM (PUF) FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF NURSES AND MIDWIVES
The above subject refers.
You will recall that the Council directed all nurses and midwives registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to go online and complete the online Professional Update Form (PUF) through a circular with ref no NIVICN/SG/120/CIR/24/VOL.4/6 dated August 2nd, 2017.
However, it was observed that some nurses and midwives have not completed their Professional Update Form (PUF) as at October 31st 2017 when the form was closed. Since the closure, Council has received series of appeals from nurses and midwives across the Country for the re-opening of the PUF portal. In view of this, the management of the Council has directed that the PUF application portal should be re-opened with effect from November 13th 2017 till December 31st 2017 to enable all nurses and midwives yet to complete their PUF to do so immediately.
Kindly note that it woud be assumed that Nurses/Midwives who did not complete this form are not registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
