Nominee must be an inspiration and a shining example for upcoming nurses and consistently goes beyond the call of duty. His/Her contribution to the profession must be exceptional and uplifting. 2) Unsung Nursing Hero/ Heroine Award:

The unsung Nursing Hero/ Heroine nominee must be one that goes far far beyond the call of duty without considerations for financial gains. 3) Best Performing State NANNM Chairman of the Year Award

The Nominee for this category must be a virile serving state NANNM Chairman whom has used his/her position to represent and better the lives of nurses working in the state. 4) Most Outstanding State Director of Nursing Award

The Nominee for this category must be a current serving director of nursing at STATE level. He/ She must have demonstrated examplary supervisory and leadership qualities in coordinating all nursing related matters in the state. The nominee must have contributed significantly and exceptionally to the development of Nursing in the state with a consistent history of contribution over and above the call of duty throughout their career. 5) Outstanding H.O.D Award (Department of Nursing at University Level) 

The Nurse Nominee must be a current Head of Department of Nursing at an accredited university and must have used his/her position as H.O.D to impact positively and advance nursing science department toward international educational standards. The nominee must be one to always go over and above the call of duty and lead the way in the development of baccalaureate, masters' and doctor of nursing programs at the university level. 6) Outstanding Nursing and Midwifery Council Staff Award

The Nominee for this category must be a NURSE and a staff of the Nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria. He/She must demonstrate dedication to duty and be known to go over and above the call of duty at work at the council. Click HERE to Nominate a Nurse 

 

7) Prinicipal/ Provost of Schools of Basic, Postbasic, College of Nursing Award

The Nurse Nominee must be a current principal or provost at either a school of nursing, midwifery, postbasic school or college of nursing. He/she must have used his/her position to impact positively and advance nursing toward international educational standards. 8) Special Recognition Award (Armed Forces Nurses: Army, Airforce, Navy, Police)

The Nominee for this category must be a registered nurse serving in either of the armed forces of the Army, Airforce, Navy, Police, Federal Road Safety corp). He/She must have used his/her position to impact positively and advance the Nursing profession. The nominee must be one to always go over and above the call of duty. 9) Nursing Lifetime Achievements Award

The award is open to individuals who nust have contributed significantly and exceptionally to the development of Nursing in Nigeria throughout their lifetime and must be above 60years old.
