Tulsi Chanrai Foundation (TCF) is an international NGO working in Nigeria from last 20 years primarily in the areas of Mission for Primary Healthcare, Mission for Vision and Mission for Water.
Through the Mission for Vision program, TCF has conducted more than 110,000 free eye surgeries in the 5 hospitals across Nigeria. TCF currently performs more than 5000 eye surgeries in its centres in Kebbi and Calabar. The centres in Yola, Owerri and Katsina are now being managed by Nigerian staff trained by TCF.
We are setting up a Super Specialty Eye Hospital in Abuja and are currently seeking qualified Post Basic Ophthalmic Nurses.
Position: Community Health Officer/ Camp Organizer
Job Purpose: To plan and organize community outreach program in a defined area towards creating awareness in the community and clearing the backlog of blindness
Job Description: Primary job description is as follows:
a. Planning and Targeting
b. Taking care of pre-camp, camp day, post-camp and follow-up activities in association with community-based camp sponsor, clinical and non-clinical staff of the hospital.
c. To create awareness about eye diseases and facilities provided by the hospital.
d. General Duties

Qualifications:
a. Must be Registered Community Health Officer
b. Candidates appearing for final examination may also apply
c. Must be fluent in English and Hausa
d. Computer literate candidates are preferable
