The Pharmaceutical Council of Nigerian (PCN) on Friday inducted 138 pharmacy graduates of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, with a charge to them to shun unethical practices.
Addressing the inductees at the oath-taking/Induction ceremony, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ezemonye, said the exercise was a promise that they would not indulge in unethical practices while rendering services to the people.
He urged the inductees to use their knowledge to promote health services instead of involving in acts that could jeopardize their future.
On his part, PCN Registrar, Pharm Elijah Muhammed, warned the inductees to adhere strictly to professional ethics.
Earlier, the Dean, College of Medicine, Dr. Ighodaro Igbe, said the college has so far produced 523 graduates.
