His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa the executive governor of delta state has graciously approved the implementation of skipping in the revised consolidated medical salary structure in the public service of the state.
This approval was contained in a memo sent into Medicalworld Nigeria dated 27th January 2017 and titled- Implementation of Skipping in the Revised Consolidated Medical Salary Structure in Delta State. The memo continues:

Accordingly, newly employed Medical Doctors will skip CONMESS 02 to CONMESS 03; whilst all other Doctors will be adjusted automatically to the next grade level. Doctors on CONMESS 07 (the last grade level on the CONMESS Salary Chart) who have not attained the bar will in the same vein, skip a step to the next one
