Doctors on Air, one of Nigeria’s most authoritative health programmes on radio, and organisers of the annual Doctors on Air Medical Mission has announced that this year’s medical mission, slated for 6 August, 2016 at the Alimosho Local Council Development Area will offer free qualitative consultation, diagnosis and treatment to over 3,000 residents in and around the area.
The organisers, who made this known at a meeting with officials of the LCDA, led by the Sole Administrator, Honourable Ganiu Quadri, recently, said that over 25 corporate bodies were partnering with the major promoters of the healthcare initiative this year. A consultant pathologist with PathCare Laboratories, Dr Olawale Olusanya, called on the people from Alimosho LCDA and its environs, who may be unable to afford quality healthcare in specialized clinics to take advantage of the medical mission initiative, which brings quality medical service to their neighbourhood at no cost.
