The Chairperson of the NOA electoral Committee wishes to inform members of the Nigerian Optometric Association that the 2016 election will still hold during the 2016 Annual General Meeting in Portharcout, Rivers State as earlier scheduled.

The Electoral Committee wishes to state as follows: 1. The list of screened candidates has earlier been made public.
2. Voters are to be cleared by the National Secretary as a criterion for voting.
3. All cleared candidates should send in the names of their Agents to the Secretary of the electoral committee latest a day before the election.
4. All candidates will have to be voted for irrespective of whether there is only one contestant for such office
5. Manifesto will be presented on the day fixed by the EXCO/LOC
