The EHA Clinic Kano has trained its Doctors and Nurses on Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support to impart both knowledge and understanding of BLS & ACLS and to provide standardized quality care to cardiac arrest victims in accordance with current AHA resuscitation guidelines.
The course was organized in partnership with Medicalworld Nigeria, laying emphasis on expanding the knowledge base, clinical competency and proficiency of the EHA Doctors and Nurses on resuscitation skills
The course content covered skills needed to manage BLS and ACLS cases with practical sessions on AED use, CPR, Manual Defibrillation, Pacing, Synchronized Cardioversion, Airway management and Intra Osseous Cannulation etc
At the end of the course, participants appreciated being on top of changing industry standards and clinical practise guidelines.
