EHS GRADES International, a global environmental, health and safety organisation, has expanded into Nigeria, targeting oil and gas, power, and manufacturing sectors, among others.
Its Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Mr Samuel Oyewole, who led a delegation to Nigeria from the United States, said during a visit to the Dangote refinery project in Lagos that the firm opened its Nigerian branch office last week.
He said, “We provide services to various clients, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 organisations in the public and private sectors. In Nigeria, we are hoping to secure clients from the public and private sectors, especially from the energy/power utility companies, transportation, chemical processing, construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, agriculture and food processing industries.
“We provide companies with the unique technical support, technology and resources that they need to ensure everyone returns home safe and healthy at the end of every workday.”
Oyewole said the time had come for Nigeria to become a global player and pacesetter with regards to environmental health and safety.
He said, “With the unique qualifications and expertise that we bring to the table, we are hopeful that the Nigerian people, industry leaders and government officials will see the value in what we are offering and allow us to help complement their current efforts in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all.”
