These Medical and Health workers have taken to the streets to protest since its been over 4 months since these young health-care workers have been providing healthcare services in remote villages of Borno even in the face of several bombings by the Boko Haram militias. Questions are now being asked by the protesting healthcare workers as to whether the funds for this project has been embezzled by the Federal Ministry Of Health officials.

In view of this, the health workers numbering about three hundred ( 300 ) demonstrated and protested openly at the Borno State Health Management Board, Maiduguri against potentially one of the worst corruption cases in the anal of history in Nigeria.

They called for an urgent response by the president, Muhammadu Buhari to ensure all the concerned authorities pay up these young health workers with immediate effect.
